0.106.3: Coronavirus integration (COVID-19), track the outbreak

My UK data seems to be incorrect, doesn’t match data from the PHE

I’ve added the data through the integration panel. Have you done anything differently dicko?

I think that something is up with the Johns Hopkins’ data, which is the source that this integration uses. If you go to their site you’ll see that the data you post reflects what is currently there.

I’ve noticed that my data actually went backwards today, to numbers that were around 7:00 p.m. (CST) last night.

Australian data is not showing correctly this morning.

Sensor

Covid

@esamwise @kanga_who it looks like this might be resolved. My data recently refreshed with more accurate values.

The issue for me specifically was that the Australian sensor changed to Equador for some reason, and pulled those stats.

It’s still not correct now.

Did you raise an issue on GitHub?

No, but will now as this morning after deleting the Aus integration and starting fresh, it has changed overnight to Gibraltar.

Capture Capture2

My sensors are called [sensor.australia_coronavirus_current]
Maybe your names are wrong? Delete and readd it. Mine are working correctly

I’ve done it about 3 times now, same result. :man_shrugging: It’s changed twice in 2 days with no input from me after it initially working perfectly.

Mine zeroed out yesterday but never changed name. It’s working here

Is there anyway to get the History Graph to pull information for an earlier date than when I integrated the Coronavisus stats? I Would like to “look back” at data from 2 or 3 weeks ago and put it in a graph.

All of the data is available on John Hopkins GitHub repo. Not sure if it could be imported into a local db or not.

Hi

Ive done nothing apart from change the name last week from uk to united_kingdoom

Ive noticed that its taking longer to update each day.

Thanks. I will look into importing this some how.

Is there any way to get the values per state/region? The US or the Canada are so big that it does not make sense to consider them as a whole…

Would also like to know if someone know a REST-API to get values (for a specific Country or a Landkreis) from John Hopkins or RKI?

I just found an iframe off JHU. If someone can figure out how to set it to a particular place would be awesome…
url: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map-faq.html

iframe:

> `<iframe width="650" height="400" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"
> marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" title="2019-nCoV"
> src="/gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Embed/index.html?webmap=14aa9e5660cf42b5b4b546dec6ceec7c&extent=77.3846,11.535,163.5174,52.8632&zoom=true&previewImage=false&scale=true&disable_scroll=true&theme=light"></iframe>`

working snippet:

gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Embed/index.html?webmap=14aa9e5660cf42b5b4b546dec6ceec7c&extent=77.3846,11.535,163.5174,52.8632&zoom=true&previewImage=false&scale=true&disable_scroll=true&theme=light

I found this link to work well with an iframe. If someone can figure out how to extract the placard by country that would be great. It has data by state/province.

Does anyone know when John Hopkins update their data? The BBC is reporting that the number of UK deaths has jumped to 104 today but the HA integration and JHU site shows that it’s still at 71.

Thanks
