2 home-assistant instances using the same Z-Wave JS?

I am running home assistant instance which connects over the network to my Z-Wave JS docker instance. Can another Home-assistant instance connect to the the same Z-Wave JS server? I have one connected, however, when I try to add another it fails to connect. Can 2 home-assistant instances talk to the same Z-Wave JS server? I am using default 3000 port.

Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, I do this all the time for testing purposes, like running beta versions of HA.

Yes that should work. Sounds like you may have a firewall / network config issue if it doesn’t.
