2024.1: Happy automating!

My system monitor has now 430 entities. 14 that i use and 416 inactive.
I will try your suggestion to remove and install again the integration.

What i miss, is setting the scan-interval via the ui like in yaml before.

- platform: systemmonitor
  scan_interval:
    seconds: 301

Edit: done, system monitor entities decreased to 174

Some really good additions, but not a fan of the new automation editor. Appreciate it needs to be made easier for new users, but the building blocks provides necessary division. Have everything under a single menu please to avoid additional clicks!

Thank you, i didn’t know those commands.

did you have updated your shelly devices firmware ?
on my side, half of my shelly are broken ( even updated with last firmware )

It was mentioned in the bug ticket by the developers it depends on the timing the Gen1 devices were added to HA.
If after the support to Gen2 was introduced they will work, if before they won’t (it’s because of a ‘gen’ param that was added and is being stored and was missing before that moment).
I see a PR is being approved to fix this.

Integration has been fixed. Update sonoff in HACS

Weird how being critical of this release gets your comments removed.

I spoke with frustration yes and I apologies for that, but with the amount is issues arose with this release breaking major things, did I say anything wrong.

Yes, some issues are fixed now, but compatibility fixes should’ve been released at beta stage, not after a public release.

Everything worked just before updating

Well, it think there was a glitch in the matrix/rpi4/ssd drrive going to die(?)
 restored a backup
updated again to latest and everything is fine.

In other words
 backups are the key :joy::+1::ok_hand:

What can I say, sorry, my fault

No need to apologise @Bieniu
Debugging can only confirm no bug was detected (or the identified ones were fixed), not that there is no bug.
I see a PR is already being approved to fix this.

Also broken here. Will have a closer look and create an issue on GitHub.

After an upgrade from 2023.12.4 directly to 2024.1.1 my Shelly integration reports some issues. I have not found any information about breaking changes regarding to Shelly integration in the release notes.

All my Shelly devices have the latest firmware available and are accessible in the local network as usual.
What happened and how to fix that?

I have same issue when updating from 2024.1.0 to 2024.1.1

Same issue here

Same here, Homematic IP HACS integration was failing with error “not loaded” and exception “Unexpected exception importing component custom_components.homematicip_local”, update of Homematic solved it. I was unable to restore 2023.12.3 from 2024.1.1

The update went smooth with no issues. Impressed by the ease to remove the systemmonitor from config. I was prepared that my entities would have new id’s, but no.
Thanks to the devs!

Please consider to install the update 1.52.0 that is available for 2 weeks now.
