A general reminder: Beta week is not designed to fully overhaul a new feature, but to identify bugs that may be introduced with the update.
If you have an issue, please let us know here! However, the developers are very active in the #beta channel of our Discord server during Beta - it’s good to hop in there if you can. To ensure things are addressed in a timely manner, be sure to also submit issues on GitHub in their proper space:
The new iNELS integration is just handling their wired and “classical” wireless products. The company also provides some Matter (over Thread) devices (link). Maybe the documentation of the integration should have a short note that those devices are handled by the Matter integration?
Or how is this usually handled for other brands that offer Matter products alongside their own protocolls that have their dedicated integration?
Such branding for Matter, Zigbee and Z-Wave devices is only available to those a part of the ”Works With Home Assistant” partnership program for certified products
Great to see the new features, will test a bit over the weekend.
Just wondering, have you seen any increase in beta testers as a result of these announcements?
Maybe this release notes should also mention both the latest Open Home Foundation newsletter and give a heads-up that about the upcoming livestream planned for the 19th of November in which some new official hardware will be announced → Drawing the line on privacy
