Thanks, Iāve re-added one device. I got the mute button, but it shows as unavailable. Is that correct? Does it only become available when thereās an alarm or is there something else wrong here?
Yes
Exactly
just finishing up this.
I had been getting the file descriptors problem back on a structural base for some time after an initial calmer period.
so. much so, I had to restart quite frequently to make them go back to a normal number, only seeing them go up again structurally. Mostly during evening times (was that a hintā¦) but not always, (guess no hint then)
then 2 things happened:
- Solaredge broke the api endpoint used by CC Solaredgeoptimizers. So I took that CC out
- 2026.1 beta started, which returns the home-assistant.log (if you decide to ). So, I also took out the CC @petro did for us to temporarily bring back the lost log file.
Lo and behold, after that, no more file descriptors issue at allā¦
too bad I didnāt realize it while uninstalling⦠no Iāll never know which of the 2 was responsible ![]()
Just install them back ![]()
yeah, well, I just did yesterdayā¦
there is a lot going on with the SolarEdgeoptimizers CC, and Iāve reported there, but, given the fact it has nothing to do with the latest developments, and had been there before, I fear it wont be fixed anytime soon
I have one more CC to test to be sure (Waterinfo), which was also updated recently, so will be able to tell tomorrow after that has been taken out.
update
turns out it is the Bluetooth Proxy, which on course is what the filed logs already showedā¦
turning 1 of these proxies off immediately starts the increase, and vice versa
Its what happens during night time here (because there is a horrible light on one of them in my bedroomā¦)
I was making a joke but good to see it gives you immediate results.
