Not only Hide( also Never show in Sidebar ), if they can get access to them anyways, it could become a disaster, be cause there is no way to control, what the Devs have to decided to “Post” to these sites, Which not Even Admins can remove, it’s a horrible way of thinking “Security/Safety”, these “default/Build-in” Dashboards Admin’s can’t even set to “Admin Only”

I’m not going to comment on the decision that has annoyed you, but I just wanted to check you were aware that there is a difference between a user and a person in HA?
You can have user accounts that are not associated with a person. I have one for my wall tablets which has local only access for example.
EDIT: also, even though I use my person-user account on my Desktop, I just bookmark another dashboard and access it from the toolbar. No need to use the default which is set to the one i’ve created for my phone. You just have to remember to use the toolbar bookmark when returning out of Settings or other non- Dashboard views. I’ve got used to it pretty quickly.
I believe a device_tracker couldn’t care less who is logged in
And as above don’t forget to log-out from your PC, same goes for your tablet if you leave it home, and you leave home
