Welll… i like my theme totally black, and in this case whole thing is extremly unreadable:
I hate the idea of changing theme just for that… Except if there’s a way to make “total-black” theme only for dashboards, and have other one for editing…
Welll… i like my theme totally black, and in this case whole thing is extremly unreadable:
So click one of the three options I just posted.
My picture is from “Devices” section…
but there IS one good thing about this: i finally began to use shortcut “D” (for devices) for quick search for specific device ![]()
So is the second option in my post.
Are you sure? This is what I get when I click on the Devices link that Tom suggested (in other words the old table view):
It looks to me that you are still on the Integration page.
well… this is what i get if i click to Settings -->devices and services → ESPHome as i always did:
Ok, i do get more decent version if i click to devices directly:
So, if nothing more i’ll change my shortcuts to show to latter one, it’s still more readable than first.
So,
I guess i’ll work on having my black theme only for dashboards, not for entire HA… perhaps this is the culprit…
That’s just a label, likely a mistake on Toms part. No big deal, you still have multiple options listed above.
Yeah, sorry that was what I should have pointed to.
Tom - I think you removed the wrong picture in your edit. The clickable devices/naprav link is under the ‘Platinum quality’ link.
Just making sure others get the full benefit of your advice, which I very much needed myself!
Fixed it for him
I have a mixed feelings about new integrations view.
I like how devices are visible in a list view, but I wish the list was more compact and more clear to see sub-item’s relation to root item. Also Edit and Menu buttons are confusing together, maybe make theme as a text?
And Configure button next to 3-dots menu button.
It is next to 3 dot menu, it’s the cog. It’s for the entry. An entry can have a single device or multiple.
Ha this the first time I see this happening in my config
But, it has nothing to do with the Esphome decimal value….
Right, because templates have always output all significant figures regardless where it comes from.
maybe the opportunity to introduce an option to display absolute time instead of relative one
timestamp_custom, timestamp_local, and timestamp_utc do absolute time. Also, strftime on datetime objects.
I’m not sure we are commenting on the same thing.
I meant this 11.433333333333 minutes ago on Marius screenshot. Besides this not rounded value (I believe Marius complained about this one) I prefer absolute time values instead.
Can you please define what you mean when saying
