I do read the release notes on every release and look for breaking changes. I often don’t update unless there is something that I need. I don’t recall seeing anything related that should have broken the automation. I only noticed it after the update. As I noted earlier, I did see some discussion about there being some ZHA/Zigbee issues following an update (can’t remember which one), but did ask at the time about it. At this point, I guess it doesn’t matter which update caused the issue, since it exists either way. I just need to figure out how to deal with it.

For comparison, here are my CPU/RAM stats going from 2026.4.4 to 2026.8.3 late Monday. It has been markedly lower, although I don’t quite understand that slow rise in RAM over time. That last RAM dip is following a recent system reboot. It may ultimately stabilize at the previous 48% ultimately and maybe that’s normal. This is on an RPi 4 (64).
Is anyone else having issues with inbuilt map (location settings) showing “API key required”?
Anyone know the fix?

Same for me, still on 2026.7.4. Waiting allways to update Core before see bugs is fixed
The map library ha uses now requires an api key, all version of HA will have this watermark until they figure out a path forward. It will likely be like this through next release at a minimum
This issue has already been resolved in the Custom Weather Radar Card; in the current version 3.9.0, you can simply enter the API, and the map will be displayed without a watermark again.
Perhaps this information will also be helpful for other maps.
It’s already fixed in beta, they switched to an entirely different data provider.

I finally updated to 2026.8.3 and am told to remove the deprecated http section in favour of the GUI.
My http section includes a subsection trusted_proxies where I specify the IP which provides the local Newt app which provides the Wiregaurd tunnel used for remote access.
Without that I don’t have remote access but I don’t see a way that this is supported elsewhere.
It’s not in the GUI, so does this mean that HA has eliminated this feature?
Settings, System, Network. Then looks like trusted proxies are added under “reverse proxy” in the HTTP server section.

Thanks, it looked good so I removed http section and restarted and I still have remote access.
