I really like the NS Panel Pro running the homeassistant app as a small and flexible interface for HA.
But for some usecases, i would really like some physical buttons.
I just got a GVS Waltz KNX Touchpanel, which is simlar to the F3-PRO, but costs 6 times as much.
So when I discovered the F3-PRO (at least alibaba and the box calls it like that) for <40€, I ordered one to take a look on how i could use it, and maybe modify it to run custom software, as I don’t want to rely on the Tuya stuff.
Hardware summary:
- Dimension: 86x86mm
- Display: 360*480 Screen with touch
- Tuya ZT3l Module for Zigbee
- Allwinnner F1C100s SoC
- 4 Relay Channels for 230v
- Integrated 230V Power Supply
- 4 physical buttons, with a RGB? led (according to pictures, at least white and yellow are possible)
- A “radar” sensor is also mentioned on the store page, the “manual” is talking about “X-band radar motion sensing” but I couldn’t anything similar to the pcb traces on a HLK radar sensor.
The “back part” (containing power supply and relays) is connected with 2x8 pin 2.54mm connector.
When I get some time i will try to figure out the pinout, as my plan is to replace that with a custom one to use it on the 24V I have available on the Aux-Voltage lines of my KNX bus.
There is also a debug port (2.54mm) with 4+1 pins, FEL, GND, DP, DM, 5V
And two solder jumpers on the second row labeled as ESD11 and ESD12.
And a unlabeled 4 pin J2 pinout with a smaller pitch.
As soon as I find some more time (and the USB UART adapter…) I will check if I get some usefull output on any of those.
