I’m trying to convert a 3 way switch to smart 3 way switch. My understanding is that I only need to replace one of the switch to smart one. Can anyone recommend one such 3 way smart switch? I want to integrate it to HASS and if it can be flashed to Tasmota that will be even better.

there are so many that will work for you. I have used the costco switches quite well https://www.cesmarthome.com/products/CWF500D-3W?locale=en though I understand that newer ones may not be easy to convert to tasmota. I have also used moes smart switches quite sucessfully. https://www.amazon.ca/MOES-Compatible-Required-Provides-Anywhere/dp/B07JK7G74W. Since I was able to find returned costco switches at the big box outlet for $7 each that is what I have used mostly.
