I have used 3rd party outdoor security cameras with my firestick and alexa for years. I have about 12 cameras in total. Now I am still able to used them on my android phone via their apps, but no longer able to bring them up via alexa. I know amazon has taken away that ability from me and was hoping that by using the Home Assistant that it could resolve this issue. If so, where do i begin do i need hardware or just software to start and will it be easy to setup, thanks.

In order to get some reasonable answers, you would need provide the info on how you installed Home Assistant (and maybe even on what kind of device) and what kind/brand of cameras you have.
