I found several threads with this or with related topics, but I did not manage to got my Tuya TS0004 running as I expect it to run. This is my configuration:
I’m running ZHA and managed to integrate the TS0004 successfully to my ZigBee network:
As you can see, a quirk is applied: zhaquirks.tuya.tx000x:Switch_4G_GPP.
I. Observed Behaviour
The switch it self is present as 4 lights (should be a switch but this is not my main issue). But I can not control the 4 channels independently. The switch has a “mode” button. By pressing this button, I can achieve 3 different behaviours:
Mode 1 - “random switching”
When I switch one of the lamps on, I can hear the relays inside the device clicking. In the dashboard they more or less randomly switch. In the, the dashboard does not every time represent the physical state of the 4 channels. Sometimes channel a is shown as on despite being physically off. Sometimes a random channel stays physically switched on.
Mode 2 - “toggle all”
When I switch on one of the channels, all channels are switched on. This happens not simultaneously but in a fast sequence. After all channels have been switch on, they are turned off again without me pressing any button. After all relays have been switched, one of the channels is stated as on in the dashboard while being off in reality.
Mode 3 - “switching simultainiously”
This mode is next to the behaviour i expect from the device: When I switch on one of the channels it stays switch on until I switch is off. But all channels are “tied together”. If I switch on, the others will follow in reality as well as in the dashboard. I can not switch them independently.
Additionally, the device has 5 physically buttons. One for switching the three modes I described above, K1, K2, K3 and K4 to toggle the state of the corresponding relay. If I’m in mode 3, this is working fine. If I press the button K2, only channel 2 is switched on, stays on until I turn it off and its state is correctly represented in the dashboard.
II. Expected behaviour
- I can independently switching the state of all 4 channels within home assistant.
- The four channels are represented as switches, not as lights.
Any ideas how to achieve this?
