Hello,
I am trying to migrate from a Docker Supervisor based install to HA OS (haosova-7.4) install. This due to the “Not Supported” issue with the Docker install option. I’ve got a NAT Rule in place to forward a non std port (8889) to 8123 as I migrate. I am able to access and view Overview, Energy, Dev Tools, Config, install apps, etc. So the forward is working fine. I’ve installed Node-Red, VS Code, and Editor. However, I get a 401: Unauthorized error
when navigating to Node-Red, VS Code or Editor. Since I can’t load VS Code or Editor, I installed FTP Server. No love. I then installed SSH Terminal. Again, no access. So I have no way to access the config files to enable debugging, change http: options, etc. And it seems that with the OS Install, we have no command line access. All I seem to have available is ha> along with “hand holding” commands.
What am I missing here? Or is there any good reason I should continue to pursue the OS install vs the Docker option? Frankly, I’ve had a much better experience with the Docker option. I don’t much like not having command line access. Maybe it comes from my SysAdmin years.
Thanks so much for your input
