recently i visited a company in building automation, they moved from zigbee to NR+
This is a part of the 3GPP 5G definitions, however it is not cellular, but a mesh topology.
Nordic semiconductor makes chips for this.
The company I visited was enthousiastic because they say the protocol and hardware is much more reliable then zigbee. Mostly because the mesh is more advanced, such as that it is self-healing and not dependent on a central controller/ orchestrator.
I was wondering if there are any tries to tie this to home assistant to be the controller and dashboard for such a network?
