I searched for answers to this, I promise :)…
First off, I got the Qrevo Curvx. I ran it once from the app just to see how it worked. So far, I’m pleased. It finished my downstairs in less than half the time (vacuum only) than my Roomba. And it only needed to recharge once.
Now for the questions about the HA integration:
- Is there a way to start a vacuum-only job? I don’t see a way but wanted to check.
- Will the vacuum use the settings I have in the app? I’m talking about things like settings for carpet cleaning, floor cleaning, dock, etc. or do I need to explicitly set any of these from HA? The documentation seems to show a way to set some of these things, just don’t know what happens if I don’t.
- A more general question…I don’t need to put anything in the map to tell it where carpets and throw rugs are, right? It’ll figure all this out wrt mopping? My roomba didn’t mop so the mopping feature is new to me.
