I just bought a Voice-PE and playing around with it a little bit.
Voice-PE has three wake words:
Okay NABU
Hey Jarvis
Hey Mycroft
However, the most ultimate wake word in connection with a home automation is missing.
Hey S.A.R.A.H
S.A.R.A.H means Self Actuated Residential Automated Habitat
It comes from the TV series EUREKA (2006-2012).
The main protagonist (Sheriff Carter; Coline Ferguson) and his daughter (Zoe Carter) live in an old military bunker, but it has been pimped into a totally AI-based home.
The people talk to the house and the house (the AI) talks to them. It fulfills their every wish. Whenever you speak to the AI with
Hey SARAH
it responds with
Yes Sheriff Carter? (or the person who asked)
The AI is at the level of Open-AI /Gemini and talks to people naturally.
Hey SARAH
Yes Sheriff Carter?
Please give me a beer.

Can you show me the best places to live in the Caribbean?
I don’t think there’s a better example of voice control for a house than SARAH from Eureka. Because the house itself is the AI.
So please, can the Voice-PE team integrate SARAH as the 4th integrated wake work ?
That would be super cool. Maybe you can extract the voice patterns from the series.
Maybe that person would have to watch the first two episodes (pilot) to get an idea. If they are a bit SciFi inclined they will probably watch all 77 episodes
SARAH was played by the character Douglas Fargo (Neil Grayston) who designed SARAH in the series and named it after Sarah Michelle Gellar. Douglas wanted to use her voice but she never got back to him so he used his own.
Yeahhhh… Correct But in the German version the voice used for SARAH is more female where as the English version really could be kind of synthesized voice from Fargos real voice.
Must admit, I like the German version much more.
Anyway. It would be cool if we could have “Hey SARAH” as an additional wake word.
I just want the support for making custom wake words for voice PE. I have the files it just doesn’t work until it gets updated. I just want my home assistant to be named Theodore I just think it is a fun name.
I’m just starting to make own offline ai and this was the voice I had on my mind from very start. I was planning to do it by myself but it’s great there is others also thinking that Sarah would be the voice of home ai automation system
