A plea for help: LAN-controllable Portable AC units available in the UK

Hi all, currently typing this in a bit of a haze as it’s starting to heat up here in the UK and I’m very quickly realizing that my flat has a habit of not letting any heat out.

I was wondering if there is anybody in the UK that can vouch for a portable AC unit (ideally under £300, but £500 tops) that supports fully local control? I’ve seen that the go-to groups of AC for this are Midea and Gree, however I’m not having much luck finding them in the UK market.

Midea and Gree are rebranded a lot. Usually the low end of the market come from these factories.

Perhaps Carrier or GE are easier to find in your area?
