It just occurred to me that after installing an Enbrighten Zigbee light switch, it is going to be a good distance from my ZBT-1 coordinator. So far every Zigbee device I’ve paired has been a few feet from the ZBT-1. I’m concerned about pairing a light switch 20 or 50 feet away. Can anyone share their experiences pairing a Zigbee device 20 or 50 feet away?
Or maybe I should go with Z-Wave LR?

I’ve got an Enbrighten Zigbee dimmer switch that’s about 35 feet away from my Sonos Zigbee dongle (and with a wall in-between). I had no problem pairing it and it works perfectly. However, I do have Third Reality smart outlets in various places throughout my house that work as repeaters.
Thanks. I have quite a few repeaters as well. Maybe I’ll give it a try. The wall switch will be about 10 feet away from the ZBT-1 through two walls. The Enbrighten is a repeater as well one of the reasons I choose it.
