Hello. I am trying, so far unsuccessfully, to get Arlo Pro 4 camera sound detection to trigger an automation using the Aarlo integration. Motion detection to trigger automations has been working, and the camera is detecting sounds and sending out notifications, but so far I can’t trigger an automation. Anyone have any hints or guidance?

How did you get motion detection to trigger? I get them really, really inconsistently.
Hi, Ssuinn. I’m sorry your automations are triggered do inconsistently, that is frustrating. I also get inconsistent triggers from motion detection, and I haven’t figured out how to improve the consistency. And, sometimes one of two of my cameras will get into a state where they trigger over and over, in quick succession, even when there is nothing in the field of view.The Arlo phone app is much more consistent, but that doesn’t help Home Assistant. My point, earlier, was that I couldn’t get sound events to trigger at all, not even once. That got figured, and then I found the same inconsistent results with sound event triggers. Bottom line, I don’t rely much on motion or sound events from my Arlo cameras to trigger HA automations, and I haven’t figured out how to make them more consistent.
