Accessing HA in a browser remotely?

I can use my android phone to remotely connect to HA at home, using Tailscale.
Using the HA app, I have complete access to all HA pages, on the phone, without logging in each time.

If I connect a laptop through the phones ‘Mobile Hotspot & Tethering’, how do I then access HA on the laptop?

Using http://192.168.0.60:8123 in a browser, as you would at home on the wifi network, does not work.

There are two ip addresses shown in Tailscale, one for the phone and one for homeassistant.

Are these the key to accessing the usual HA login screen?

That one is your best bet.
I suggest putting tailscale on your laptop first.

Just as a wild guess, I did try the ‘obvious’ - each of the Tailscale ip’s and :8123 in a browser on the laptop - with no luck.

I’m sure you are right, installing Tailscale on the laptop will provide a solution.
But, can HA be accessed without installing Tailscale on the laptop?

Not on an outside network.

Since you already have a tailscale implementation it would be the most secure way for you to get to this though.
