Accessing portainer via Home Assistant?

I am running Home Assistant on docker via using a docker compose file. I can login to portainer via my browser by going to https://:9443 without any issue.

In Home Assistant I have added it as a dashboard which will load the page in the frame, but when I pass the admin credentials, it does not accept the credentials being provided. I’ve gone so far as to save the credentials to my browser and use autofill to ensure I’m not mistyping, but I get “unable to login” when I submit the (correct) credentials.

Anyone else ever overcome this? Small quality of life item, but being that it’s only refusing via HA thought it best to post here to start.

Check hass ingress integration. For me its working no problem.

Hello Kyle,

There are known issues using Portaner with HA. They both want to control their dockers. I don’t know the issue, but a search here should find more info.
