Yesterday some zwave switches were not working as expected (not reacting on input).
I went into home-assistant settings browsing for the zwave log and hit more or less accidentally the soft-reset button without reading the describtion carefully - terribly mistake as I quickly found out.
I already tried to restore a hass.io snapshot from the day before. But it seems like the configuration is stored on the stick itself.
Is there a way to revert this somehow without opening all the walls to physically push the include button on my zwave devices?
And to prevent this is the future - can the zwave config be stored somewhere to be independent from the zwave gateway?
It doesn’t necessarely mean that you have destroyed the network. It might just hangs. Not just restart Home Assistant but reboot your Home Assistant device and wait a few minutes for the network to come online. If nothing happens after 10 minutes try the Heal Network command and wait.
Hi Brandon, glad you got this sorted.
