If I disable and enable my adaptive lighting, the color adjusts, as expected. However, it does not adjust automatically. I do not understand why. The lights do not seem to have connection issues and always work as I would expect them to. I do not think it is a Zigbee issue.
I tried without take_over_control and Detect_non_ha_changes but the result was the same.
Here is my config:
My other lights look the same but work.
The brightness should never go below 100% as the room gets too dark otherwise. It’s the color I’m struggling with as it does not adjust cold and warm white tones if I don’t manually turn it off and on again.
Did you find the answer? I’m struggling with this problem too, except I have min_brightness around 40% and It doesn’t adjust the temperature OR brightness unless I manually disable then reenable. I can’t figure out what’s wrong.
While I still do have problem that adjusting sometimes takes a bit of time (after en- and disabling sleep mode) my main problem is fixed.
Iirc I had a trigger that kept on switching the light on, whenever there was movement. That wasn’t noticeable as the lights were already on. The result was, however, that adaptive lighting probably switched to manual control and stopped adjusting for the period the light stayed turned on.
It might have been a mix of other things. As I applied multiple fixes at once, I’m not sure where the exact problem came from.
