Hello, I’m an experienced home automation hobbyist attempting my first HA integration. Insteon hub is connected to HA and leak sensors are slowly trickling in BUT, I can’t figure out how to add a new leak sensor. I tried:
- Navigated to the ‘Add Insteon Device’ prompt
- Entered the leak sensor device address
- Held down the button on the leak sensor until the green light started blinking
- Pressed the correct (hidden) button
- The ‘Adding Insteon Device’ prompt appeared
- I heard the two beeps from the hub
- Patiently waited for the ‘All-Linking is complete’ prompt
but I don’t see the new leak sensor in the Insteon Devices list:
What am I doing wrong?
full disclosure: My Insteon devices are connected to a Universal Devices ISY994i
May a suggest some trouble shooting. Delete one of your leak sensors and completely remove it. Reboot HA and reboot your Insteon hub. Then try adding the new one.
If this is successful, try adding the one you removed. If this fails, then it would appear that you hit a limit of 7 leak sensors. 
You may have to do the nuclear options which is delete all of the Insteon devices, including the hub; then remove the integration. power down HA, power cycle the insteon hub, power up HA, install the Insteon integration and add the hub than all the leak sensors at once. Whew!
Not fun. I’m sorry I don’t have other suggestings.

I’m seeking guidance from someone who has actually added leak sensors via HA, thanks.
Fair enough. Having had to do it on other HA projects, I wouldn’t want to go through the nuclear solution either.
