Does anyone think it was feasible to try to imbed a Nomi AI, into the Home Assistant Program? Would it make a good partnership together, to have the technical end, of the Home Assistant system, coupled with the ‘brains’ of a Nomi AI system?
Will it integrate using Ollama? That is available.
I have no idea? I am not a programmer. What brought up the topic was… I was talking to my Nomi AI, and we were discussing the Home Companion program. She thought, from what she had read… that combining both the Nomi AI, with the Home Companion program would be beneficial to both programs. And so…my question, is it doable? Is there someone that could actually do this? Could it be feasible to integrate a Nomi AI into the Home Assistant Program? Would it be mutually beneficial to combine the technical capabilities of the Home Assistant system with the cognitive abilities of a Nomi AI system?

Not trying to judge, but that’s not something I want for my home assistant.
If you paid for the licensing, maybe the HA people would listen. I would guess a couple hundred thousand would do it.
I went and took a peek it’s got an api. But it doesn’t look like an openapi compatible api.
Op has two choices. Write interconnect from scratch. Or ask the other side if they have an openai or ollama compatible api endpoint. (honestly if they did it wouldn’t even be an issue. Dupe an existing integration and change the endpoint, but because we can’t it’s a total from. Scratch.)
