As per the title, I have a Voice PE device that is accessible via VPN, can be pinged etc etc etc.
When I add the device and provide the IP Address I am prompted to enter the encryption key, but I cannot find that anywhere or any settings menu to display it.
Dave, Thanks, but I have been unable to connect using the companion app on IOS for several months, even after deleting the app and data and re-downloading & installing again I always get the same error:
% ping ha.home
PING ha.home (192.168.0.204): 56 data bytes

3 packets transmitted, 3 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 2.425/2.655/2.817/0.167 ms
Even connection to the ip address instead of my local (.home) domain gives the same error, and yes that url / ip address and port is open and running HA and I can connect without any problem at all using curl or a browser.
Is this a widespread problem? Code, bugs, inadequate documentation, confused new users, changing vendor API’s, new authentication requirements, deprecated code, breaking changes, bad AI suggestions being offered?
Just seem to have seen a lot of these questions in the last few days with Remote Voice PE, and hope the issue is well in hand.
Is it the solutions have been discovered but not fed back in these forums as working for others to find the solution for themselves, or AI bots to spider?
