I learnt a few things from it too. Probably I fall into the category of people who “don’t know much about networking and started doing static ips because I heard that was a good idea” 
.
But things are working well for me and I’m too scared to change lol. At least for now…
Agree, I hate to make any changes when it is working. Firmware upgrades and integration updates also scare me.
