I have Galaxy Watch 9 running Wear OS7, paired with Galaxy Fold7 running Android 17. When trying to add HA tiles on the Watch 9 there is no Home Assistant entry in the add tile dropdown, so I am unable to add tiles. The companion app on the phone shows the watch, the HA app is accessible on the watch, and I can access settings, so could configure tiles if I could add them.
I’ve tried restarting the watch, but problem remains.
Any suggestions welcome.
I wonder if this is due to confusion of tiles v the new widgets?
Tiles are circular, non-scrollable… tiles. Widgets are rectangular or pill-shaped items in a scrollable stack within a tile
Home Assistant doesn’t have widgets, so you need to add a new TILE not a new WIDGET to a existing tile. I have a FR here for widgets.
[Edit to add: Using my GW7 I have no trouble adding HA tiles. HA does not appear in the widgets list as HA doesn’t don’t support widgets.]
Now have found that no apps added to Watch9 appear in the add tile dropdown. However, I have been able to add tiles in the Wear app on my phone. Problem is not specific to HA, so will take up with Samsung.
