Adding second Bali Zwave shade

I installed a Bali Zwave shade several years ago and have it integrated with a Nortek USB stick. I just ordered a second Bali Zwave shade and am wondering if I will have a problem adding it to my network. Do the shades have some kind of internal serial number or something like that so they don’t get confused? Can I just add it to my network like I did with the first one or do I have to delete the first shade and then add them both?

Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Fun with Bali ZWave Motorized Shades

You need a z-wave radio to connect to the blinds. Starting fresh, don’t consider anything except the ZWA-2 radio. Once you have the radio, install Z-wave JS UI and add the blinds to the controller. There is a specific inclusion sequence you have to follow. I wrote it into the CRZB help file - a link is posted above, and attached here: [9848]

You can add a lot of blinds no problem - the z-wave mesh takes care of identifying them. Consider upgrading to the ZWA-2 controller - it is a dramatic improvement to most z-wave installations.

Great, thanks for the quick reply. Although my current controller is working fine, I will definitely look into the ZWA-2.
