Adding Shelly Wave 2PM with Z-Station controller doesn't work

Hi,
if I’m not mistaken, my Z-Station Z-Wave controller is using the 700 chip and the Shelly Wave 2PM is using an 800 chip. I’m using HAOS in a KVM virtual machine, using Z-Wave JS UI. Although the Shelly Wave 2PM should be backwards compatible, it seems like Z-Station doesn’t even “see” the Shelly Wave 2PM. There’s nothing in the logs…
I tried doing a factory reset of the Shelly, that didn’t help.
Restarted Z-Wave JS UI, didn’t help either.

Anybody got this working or got some hints where to look for a solution getting the Shelly included in my network ?

Many thanks !

Kind regards,

Discoverer.

I use the Shelly Qubino Wave Shutter with the razberry 7.
The see each other, so I don’t think that is a z-station issue

Great, this means it should work! I hope I can figure out how to fix it on my side… no clue at this time…

Keep us posted
I’m interested in the z-station as well

I would verify that the region is set correctly on your controller.

I think the region is OK.

I don’t know why, but testing a few days after, I now get some entries in the log. It now says “CNTRLR [Node 000] is unknown - discarding received command”.

I’m trying to add without security.

According to ChatGPT, this could have to do with timing issues regarding USB passthrough to a VM (HAOS is running inside KVM QEMU) ? So the suggestion was to try this on bare metal with potentially Silabs software to get it succesfully included.

Anybody got other ideas on this ?
