Hello all,
I have installed tailscale and adguard as addons on home assistant os. The tailscale network works just fine. I’ve setup adguard as the dns server for my tailscale network (so i’ve added the tailscale ip address of my raspberry pi where home assistant os is installed in the dns settings).
When i browse with a remote tailscale device i can see the entries in the adguard query log and ads are filtered, so my setup works…
The only thing is that in the query log all clients are identified as localhost (127.0.0.1) so i have no distinction of which queries are performed by which device and thus i can also not set specific per device settings or filters.
Is there something i can change to make it more visible which client performs which query? I have also setup adguard on docker on another linux machine for testing purposes and on that instance every client is properly and uniquely identified when i set the ip address of my linux machine as dns for my tailscale network…
Any help is much appreciated…
