I am on HA 2024.10.2 and AdGuardHome 5.1.4. No matter what I try I can not get YouTube out of Restricted Mode for comments. I have added a few domains to the Custom Filter Rules as well as unchecked Use Safe Search under General settings.
Any suggestions?
This is not a Home Assistant thing but an AdGuard setting. If Safe search is turned on there, youtube goes in restricted mode. With the Home Assistant integration, you can turn Safe seach off though 
But I see you tried that already. For me it worked immediately.
You can also turn restricted mode on in Youtube, maybe you did that?
Thank you for the reply. I actually have AdGuardHome addon in HA so that’s why I figured someone could assist here. It is all devices connected to AdGuardHome that are in restricted mode. Android devices, Linux Desktop, Windows Laptop and iPads.
If anyone else has any other forums that I could seek help, that would be great.
So for somebody running in to the sam problem, after disabling safe search in adguard home>settings>general I had to also enable and then disable restricted mode in the youtube app for it to realize it’s not restricted anymore and get the comments back.
