Advice for webcam configuration needed

Hi everyone,
I’ve been digging around in the forums for some time, trying to find the best configuration for webcams for my setup. it consists of :-

Small desktop running headless ubuntu server with Docker installed Hassio & MotioneyeOS,
An RPI Zero W, running MotioneyeOS with camera module attached.
Communication is over wifi.

Desktop is configured with a duckdns.org domain.

What I’m trying to figure out what is the best configuration for my installation.

Firstly, should I be …
A) running RPi with MotioneyeOS in fast camera RTSP mode, with Docker MotioneyeOS doing the grunt work of dealing with motion detection?
B) running RPi with MotioneyeOS in fast camera mjpeg mode, with Docker MotioneyeOS doing the grunt work of dealing with motion detection?
C) running RPi with MotioneyeOS in normal mode but with motion detection turned off, with Docker MotioneyeOS doing the grunt work of dealing with motion detection?

It seems sensible letting the desktop do the motion detection work, as there’s plenty of bandwidth on the processor (running at 2% at the moment).

I’m able to configure all 3 solutions, but the first 2 seem to cause integration issues with Hassio cards (or I’m not understanding how I should be amending configuration.yaml).

With option C, configuration.yaml with platform:mjpeg directly to the pi zero IP address works the best with cards at the moment, but is this correct? Should I be using the docker MotioneyeOS as the feed instead (which causes it’s own problems, as all streaming URLs are described with my duckdns domain).

Any thoughts or guidance will be gratefully received.
