Hey all,
Any idea how to get the energy monitor part of this switch to work in HASS? It shows up fine as a switch and I can control it but It’s nothing showing me any energy data. Any thoughts?
Thanks so much!!

How long ago did you install it? Is it set up for binary reporting?
It took a few reboots and saving the configs in OZWCP for my ZW076’s to show all the available attributes as sensors.
I installed it last night. Not sure what you mean about binary reporting. It shows up as a binary switch with no real option in OZWCP.
@rpitera decided to dig a little more, OZWCP isn’t even showing it’s proper state. It says off when really it’s on. HASS shows it stats correctly. I also noticed this in the log of OZWCP:
2017-02-12 17:56:54.580 Error, Node020, ERROR: ZW_SEND_DATA could not be delivered to Z-Wave stack
It is in fact node 20. Related perhaps? Also (on a maybe unrelated note) after upgrading to .38 my z-wave thermostat is not longer controllable or even visible to HASS.
Scratch that last bit, seems unrelated: Aeon Labs z-wave thermostat broken in 0.38.1
Hey @rpitera
Did a couple more restarts of HASS and full reboots of the Pi but still not showing any energy data, it’s still just a binary switch. Any other thoughts?
The ZW076’s worked for me the first time out but I did have an issue with the older Energy Monitor (can’t locate the model number ATM) and I had to remove it and re-pair it again.
ZWave is still kind of a black box for me in some respects.
I’ll try a removal and re-pair when I get home, thanks. I concur about Z-wave being a black box. I have no idea how to troubleshoot when something like this happens. Appreciate the help, I’ll keep you posted!
I’ll keep an eye out for your updates and I’ll help wherever I can.
@rpitera I think I got it! Ended up removing the node, factory resetting it (just for good measure) then re-adding it. And it appears to be reporting the wattage correctly, didn’t realize my hot water heater was drawing 4500w. Guess that’s the reason I have this thing! Appreciate your assistance.
Good deal man! Glad to help!
