Aeotec Multisensor 6 - polling doesn't works properly

Hi,
I’m losing a lot of days to configure properly the Aeotec Multisensor 6 on OZWCP. The device is powered by batteries but the sensor doesn’t change any state! I cannot understand what are the correct parameters to set in OZWCP (I see the device on HASS).
Please, can you share your parameters on OZWCP for this device? I’m losing my patience…

Thanks in advance

You shouldn’t have to poll it since it is supposed to push the current measurements once an hour by default. The settings Aeon labs recommend disable other updates (I assume that doesn’t apply to the motion sensor), and I think those are the default.

Thanks for reply!!!
But one question: how can i change the parameters from OZWCP? I don’t understand this…
maybe something is not clear for me

If it’s battery powered, you’ll need to wake it before you change the parameters (see the link I posted). Then all you should need to do, while it’s awake, is change the settings as normal - select the device, chose the configuration option and then edit and submit the entries one at a time.

Thanks! I’ve understood the parameters now. But I have an other question (maybe the last): the motion sensor is enabled and the device is set to binary sensor…but the motion sensor seems doesn’t works! It still on “on” or “off” parameters many times without changes…how can i solve this? Are there some others parameter to set?

Thanks

When you say “doesn’t work”, what do you mean?

I mean the motion sensor doesn’t turn on…the value still remains the same (“on” or “off”) when a motion is detected in the room. I don’t understand what is the parameter to set on ozwcp or hass configuration…maybe i’m losing something in the configuration…

From some Google searching I did it looks like motion is reported in the burglar sensor, at least if you’ve set it to Binary reporting mode. That works for me anyway.

I still had it on the default setting and it would report too, but did switch it to Binary reporting mode and can fully confirm it works. Still testing how ‘low’ I can get it in terms of response (documentation says 10 seconds, which it accepts, but that doesn’t yet work).

@robertotucci try tailing the ozw logfile and especially observe your settings on wake-up and group reporting (see aeotec website)

Finally I solved.
I checked “Wakeup for 10 minutes” and I set the time to keep alive to 10 seconds on OZWCP.
Now the sensor seems works properly!

Thanks for nice support!
