Aeotec MultiSensor 7 (ZWA024) - Two Devices, Same Config, One Reports & One Doesn't

Context
I have two Aeotec MultiSensor 7 (ZWA024) devices (let’s call them A and B). I purchased them at the same time. I have them both running off of USB power. They are both in the same location. They both have the same parameters. They both have a strong signal (for troubleshooting purposes they are both currently in the same room as the my ZWA2).

Issue
Both devices are configured to report every 120 seconds (parameter 111 group 1 interval), and device A reports exactly as configured, but device B takes hours to report, but does report somewhat periodically.

Troubleshooting
I’ve taken the following steps, but have not had any success in fixing the issue: I have tried re-interviewing device B, I have tried power cycling both devices, I have tried moving them to a different location, I have tried moving them away from each other, the firmware is up to date (1.6.7), I have tried rebuilding my routes and deleteing any priority routes, and I’ve trippled checked the parameters.

Help.

Sincerely,
My hair.

Personally I would try an exclude, factory reset, include and re-interview.

Have you checked the group memberships to ensure the controller is in group 1?

Can confirm both are in Lifeline (group 1).

Something interesting I’ve started to notice is that device B is reporting every 6 hours.

Just received a support email from Aeotec (fairly fast too, only a couple of hours). He asked me to check the groups, just as @mterry63 did, but he also recommended that even if the groups were the same, I should try deleting the groups of device b, then adding it back. Amazingly, that worked.

Would love to know why.

I have several of those and experience a similar thing after a power fluctuation. For me changing or resending any configuration parameter to the device fixes it.
