Aeotec recessed door sensor burns through batteries in 20 days

I have an Aeotec recessed door sensor (zwave - model ZW187) that works quite well aside from needing to replace the battery every 20 days. I have other battery operated device that last several months. Its on the latest firmware. Batteries are known good. Its near a light switch that acts as a ZWave repeater. I have a ZWA-2 so I know I have a good zwave network controller. Seems it last reported 45% battery before dying.

Any advice?

Is it updatetwith firmware? I know there alwas such an issue woth older firmware.

Yes, it has that firmware version
