My home assistant is showing that there is an Aeotec Trisensor 8 firmware update (2.7.1 to 2.8.4). Anyone know how these updates are supposed to work? I clicked on update button in the gui but it’s been “installing” for two hours.
Nevermind, I figured it out. Should have made my searches a little more generic.
For anyone else that stumbles upon this, since it was a battery device I just needed to get it to check in. I ended up taking it off the wall, popping the back off, and pushing the action button on the back for 3 seconds until it flashed blue real quick. That woke it up and it started updating. Hope that helps.
