there may be some other configuration you have to do. likely you will have to tell it on what port the z stick is found.
it may take a little while after you reboot the RPi for home assistant to start up again because it is downloading and installing all the stuff necessary to run your z wave network.
and you won’t be using OZWCP (if you are using an up-to-date HA). you should have an item in the menu on the left that will say “configuration”. after HA installs all the zwave stuff if you go to that selection there will be a section for z wave. in there is where you will click on the “add node”. then put your device into discery and it should find it. you will probably have to restart HA for the new device to show up in your entities list.

I already have everything in place, but then I read; that some devices can give more options when discovered this way.
So, I’ll delete all my z-wave stuff, and try this method.
