Aeotec ZW095 Configuration

Hi there. I wanted to monitor my home’s consumption and production (just had solar installed). So I purchased this Aeotec Gen 5 home energy sensor.

I installed it yesterday, and got an initial set of values, but it isn’t updating automatically. I searched the web for a couple hours and saw a lot of posts about similar issues, but no resolutions. I am curious if anyone has this installed and working properly?

The sensors reported by the unit show a value of when it was installed but never change. Home assistant for example says “3 hours ago”
For all of them.

I suspect the configuration values are wrong but I’m not sure what to put.

My goal is to get a total number of watts, that is positive or negative depending on if we are pushing power back to the grid or consuming.

My info:

Home assistant OS on N2+
Gen 5 energy meter
US, 2 phase, 120V each
2 clamps one for each phase. Installed properly (alternating directions)
Z wave JS

Thank you!
Matt

Just installed one of these units myself as well. I’m seeing consumption right out of the gate, but I don’t have solar at the moment.

I had trouble pairing the unit initially and rolled back the Z-Wave security settings. Maybe someone can confirm what the unit’s appropriate setting is?

@eea123 I had to unpair, restore to factory settings, and re-pair and then it started working. Mine paired with S0 security.

Still very much a newbie, but I just checked my configuration. This was set automatically when I installed it, so I’m just reporting what it shows. I’m in the US with residential 220V single phase. I’m using “Z-Wave” with no security and the following are set “ON” under the “Configuration” tab under “Device Info” for the Aeon “Home Energy Meter G2”:
