After HA upgrade and all components, homematic lost connections

Hi all

Background
I am migrating from Openhab to HA. During this process I did hold back upgrades for HA and Homematic. During this transfer period Homematice interface worked well.

Issue description
Now as I upgraded HA to the latest version and also the Homematic to the latest release I experience that all of my Homeatic devices do not show any status anymore…

In homematice the right values are shown and homematic has connection to the devices, but shows a communication error to devices, while it is connected to HA

System environment

  • Openhab runs on a Raspi4 and shows all data normally: 3.79.6.93
  • HA and all components are on latest release

What do I need to do to have again my homematic device data updated in HA? The only thing I did is that I updated HA …

What I did so far…

  1. checked that all SW is on latest state
  2. removed homematic and re-added it => it seems now that user / pw is needed so I did that but the result is the same… devices look in HA unavailable … while they are available in homematic
  3. turned on logging
  4. I red somewhere that HA needs to be shut-down and hm restarted before… did that too… same result

I did not yet open that issue like marked in the logs as, there are more connection issues around that need to be fixed first. I care more about temperature.

Work around
=> probably I start using node-red to send info about devices in MQTT
