After update to 2026.9.4: KNX integration dead

Hello,

I just updated to 2026.9.4 yesterday and suddenly the KNX integration stopped working. I can setup a connection to the KNX IP router but never get any answer to those outgoing read requests. I restarted the KNX IP router, also HA but the issue persists. It just stopped working after the update.

Everything within the KNX integratiion itself seems to be fine, except there is no data.

Has anyone an idea what could be the issue?

Have a look at your logs.
If you are using routing rather than tunnelling, there is no “connection” - so the integration can’t know if anything actually reaches the router other than by read request timeouts.

Hi farmio.

After changing the connection to another KNX device (Gira X1) it started working. I restarted the IP router using ETS but that didn’t help. So I just unplugged the device and afterwards it started answering again. So there was nothing wrong with the update, just unlucky timing :slight_smile:
