Use case / account: Leverage the power of Grok Build having access to /config. Helps you debug, build, reconfigure, summarize and much more. Requires HA OS/Supervised + an xAI account (API key recommended).
Add-ons no longer exist and building new Apps and using the words and links to the old way in the readme is very confusing for users wanting to try your stuff…
For instance, this install sequence from your readme don’t work:
Go to Settings → Add-ons → Add-on Store
Using the term Add-on with new software can cause some confusion because people have been trying to find add-on in the HA UI, and it is no longer there.
Please consider a wording revision.
A simpler approach may be to use the Create a link – My Home Assistant facility…
What is the use case here, i’m not getting it. Do you need a grok account too?
Yes, you do. It integrates Grok Build into Home Assistant in a way that it can help you manage your system. Write automations, query system state, investigate logs, whatever you would want to do yourself, through the UI, and in some cases even things you couldn’t easily do.
The real point in releasing it was that there was nothing that adds Grok Build specifically to HA.
