So I’ve been playing with the Home Assistant Voice Preview in the bathroom.
When I walk in, it asks me if I want to play music. Simple. Clever. Feels a bit futuristic.
The other day, I walked out of the toilet and it asked, “What would you like to play?” Just as the toilet was flushing.
Apparently, it thought I answered.
It decided to play the sound of a running tap from some weird Spotify sound effects album.
Naturally, I panicked, started scanning the walls and ceiling, thinking I had a leak.
Nope. Just my AI helper trying to match the vibe.
Lesson learned: maybe voice control in the bathroom isn’t always the smartest idea.
Anyone else had a smart home moment like this?
