I have just purchased a series of new air conditioners (ideal clima Ikaro) which become wifi by installing their TQCT07 wifi stick with a WBR3D wifi chip inside. It configures perfectly with their Smart Life/Tuya application and from there I have all the necessary commands for managing the air conditioner. I add the air conditioner on home assistant and it detects it without entity and therefore uncontrollable by HA. I’m asking for help as I don’t think I can return them and I don’t want to ruin my plan for a new house, thanks in advance
That’s the trick with local Tuya, you have to find the ‘entities’ in the cloud account and add them to the integration.
I have done this some time ago but at a certain point my few devices were not working anymore and the procedure to integrate them had changed so I don’t use them anymore.
It’s a matter of searching, reading, trial & error…

I am also interested in buying this product (Ikaro) and I would like to have the possibility to control the device over Home Assistant.
Which functions are available from the app? On/Off, Mode, Temp & Fan control? What about swing mode?
