AirTag "integration" (user friendly + device tracker)

Restarted HA and then Reloaded the configs… Now getting something very strange…
That is not my input address (or anywhere close)… Also look at the null for Long still in the top sensor… Also is there a reason there are 2 sensors showing?

I would double check your configuration, I think you probably made a typo in there.

Hi there

My air tag is at the moment is the bike store (with my bike) and the adress is statiestraat 20 but that street also exists close to me here in antwerp while that is in Lint. is there a way to use the radius shown on the right in the find my app to pick the right street if there are more of them excisting?

I dont think so, I did fix it a bit for tags that are normally around me (see AirTag "integration" (user friendly + device tracker) - #126 by john2014 )

There I use the city of my phone to make sure the street and city are correct. But for your case it will not work, because you are in a different city then the tag.

Hi Guys,

Is someone here with a working Germany setup, where “Home” is “Privat” and can post the config ?

This looks very interesting! Are you using the PRO tier? How have you integrated it into Home Assistant?

I too, am interested in this. Are you using airpinpoint with Home Assisitant?

For Android users, I highly recommend reading this article:

Was hoping that the article would talk about a solution to get the Android trackers in home assistant. But under “Using Trackers with Home Assistant” it doesn’t really say anything about using the android trackers in HA.

Amazing! Thanks for sharing!

Hi TiToTB - thank you so much for your hard work! I have tried to follow your (English) instructions, but I don’t quite understand what you mean by …

3. Look for the «Call» action with the Home Assistant icon and tap on the arrow icon to expand the details. In the «Server» section, **you must select your Home Assistant instance** to send the data.

I use Nabu Casa, so do I just tap on the word & select “Home”, or “Select a Variable” or maybe something else? At the moment, after putting the text in my sensor.yaml file, I only get “unavailable”.

Many thanks!

That point refers to the Shortcuts app on the iPhone.

By the way, since there have been many questions about this integration, I created a dedicated thread in our English community (in case you need help or want to share ideas).

Yes, I am within the Shortcuts app, but am not sure what I should put next to “Server”? At the moment I have selected “Home” (see below), but am not sure if this is correct.

Yes, if that’s the name of your Home Assistant instance

Naive question; could you do this through iCloud in the browser? That would let you build the integration into ha itself.

ICloud does not have the AirTags.

This is awesome, great job and thank you for sharing. On Android and my wife is iPhone. For Apple airtags overall, superiority. The integration with home assistant will be the deciding factor for me.
