I was wondering if anyone knows how the dampers % are selected and whether it relates to the fan mode.
I'm using a mitsubishi Air Con with Airtouch 5, I have set up in the way advised by smitcoracing
I've recently added the following automation which keeps the machine running only slightly above the ambient temperature because I have no other ways of limiting my use to the solar generated only.
it's working fine but sometimes for specific purposes I wonder what I should set the fan mode to:
from my understanding intelligent auto means we've set up the size of each room so it uses different flow rates: So that for example larger rooms might get a higher flow than a smaller room even though it might already be warmer.
however when you said to the other four modes the dampers are still not set to exactly the same
does anyone know how these actually work and how the damper settings are selected?
for example in the middle of the night when I have no solar I want to make sure I only turn on the air con in the main bedroom and not have a damper less than 100 percent - ie warm air is spilling to the spill area (no damper) and being wasted.
during the day when there's a lot of solar I probably want all the dampers to be 100 percent and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be?
