Airtouch 5 with Mitsubishi Electric Ducted Air Con excessive energy

Hi, I have Airtouch 5 and Mitsubishi Electric Air con model 18kw PEA-M180LAA indoor unit with 7 zones and bypass. When the system goes into bypass, it consumes excessive power and stays there for 1 or 2 hours using 3 to 8 KW electricity.

  1. Is there a solution to this to get system to turn off when going to bypass.
  2. Could a home assist integration help to turn it off.
  3. How would I setup Home Assist to do this.
Airtouch is setup with A/C Control on “Auto” (tried “economy” still same problem) Fan is set to Intelligent auto. Each room has individual temp control with wireless sensor.

You need something to sense that this is occurring that Home Assistant can monitor.

You need to give Home Assistant control of this to actually shut it off.

If you can set those up, then yes.
