I have an issue with alarmo: the alarm is not triggered.
When the alarm is set, and soon after I open the door or activate a motion sensor, the alarm goes off. But when we leave the house in the morning, and come back later that day, nothing happens. I know the door sensor is working, because the lights go on as soon as I open the door and I can also see in HA that the motion sensor has worked. But, no alarm. As if some kind of connection is lost with Alarmo.
Is anyone else having this issue or knows about it? Is there something I need to check, change in me setup, a log I can share?
Did you solve this issue - I have the same problem. When alarmo is set to ‘away’ I test it by opening the door and alarmo does not trigger. The door sensor is working because I have an automation that switched on a light successfully.
For me it all worked again at a certain time. I did not change anything on my setup. I guess some update from Alarmo or Home Assistant itself solved the issue. So sorry I cannot give you any help on this.
I have the same problem with the latest versions of HA and Alarmo.
I noticed that when the alarm is armed, the notification leaves a blank where the armed status should be, even though the parameter {{arm_mode}} is included in the messages, and it appears correctly when I press ‘try it’ in the notification setup page.
Could it be that Alarmo is not really being armed at all?
At the moment I can think of no remedy other than deleting Alarmo and setting it up again?
