Alarmo -- only arming for "home", not away, night, vacation -- why?

Just added Alarmo (including lovelace card) to my HA instance at home. Alarmo will work fine for only the “home/stay” mode (I can arm and disarm fine), but will not arm for the other modes. Notifications, and Actions work fine when triggered in “home mode”, so all sensors are working fine within alarmo. All modes are “enabled” within the Alarmo Panel (general tab) – what am I missing ? below is example showing “away” mode is enabled, and so are all the other modes…

edit – just to be clearer, I am unable to arm to those other modes when choosing the buttons in the lovelace card, they just do not do anything, except when pressing the home button, then the alarm gets armed, and am also able to enter my code to disarm it…

More detail would help with troubleshooting. Perhaps show a screen shot of the lovelace card?

Many Thanks for the reply ! Here are some screeshots of the lovelace card. first is after clicking the arm home button, next is the “greyed-out” away button after I clicked it several times, but did not arm. Third is after pressing the “disarmed” button on pic #2, and after pressing the “away” button repeatedly, did not arm. Lastly is the result of pressing the arm “home”, which actually arms it. I actually get the notification on my phone that the alarm was armed when I pressed the arm “home” button.

the same happens for the night and vacation modes, no arming,

should also mention that there are no errors or notices in the “logbook”, so it seems the buttons for the night, away, and vacation modes are inactive… ?

you can create a notification that tells you what didn’t trigger the alarm.

Thank you for that suggestion, a good idea for that instance. However, what I think is happening with my instance is that the buttons in the lovelace card are not functioning, only the one for “home”, the others are not causing anything to happen, like they are not activated or linked to whatever they are supposed to do. I am thinking I will uninstall and re-install the lovelace card in the morning, when I have a little more time to play with it.

Thinking more, I did not install the lovelace card at the same time I installed Alarmo, it was later when I had configured several of the sensors, and settings in Alarmo, that I went and downloaded the lovelace card and “installed” it. Wonder if that has had anything to do with it… ?

Anyways, thank you for the good suggestion, and I will implement it once I gt this bits sorted out.
Cheers!

OK, have tried several things… the easy user friendly did not work. I deleted and resintalled the card, and during the re-install I had the option to select what modes the card could access, so I selected them all (away, home, night, vacation, etc.) However that still only allowed me to set the alram only for Home. Pressing th ebuttons for the other modes did nothing – this is not the same as the alarm “failing” to be set. After some more reading, I went to Developer Tools > Services, and lo-and-behold, the fvery first thing showing was Alarmo settings to allow for the away, night, and vacation modes to be set up… which had me pick the 3 settings (area, device, entity) for each of the 3 modes that were not working (away, night, vacation), pressing the “CALL SERVICE” button every time, and getting the “check mark”. I then rebooted, and…
STILL NOT WORKING (same as before). So I went back to Dev Tools > Services, and all the settings I had done are gone ! for some reason they were not saved.

Now, I am just a dumb beginner at this, and most definitely do not know the ins-and-outs of HA or Alarmo, but this is being a bit frustrating, and not very user friendly …

I would welcome ANY ideas, or pointes as to what I am missing. Also tried looking at my Cinfiguration.yaml using the File Editor, and my YAML file is dam near empty, even though I’ve been using HA several months now, and have several automations and scenes with light switches that have been working great. So no idea on how I am to look at teh configuration.yaml file details, if there is nothing in it…

SOLVED !! It just happened that the only mode that was arming (Home) was the only mode that did not include my Front Door sensor (a Shelly Door/Window 2 sensor). And as I checked the settings on the sensor, via the sensor’s wi-fi AP Shelly web interface, I noticed that I had not given it a name. As soon as I gave it a name, same as the name in the HA Shelly integration now all alarm modes are “armable” and “disarmable” just fine. All working well now.
